Do I need an appointment to try on wedding gowns?

Yes, we require appointments to be made in advance so that we can guarantee a consultant, a fitting room for the bride, and seating for the bridal party. Click here to make an appointment or give us a call at 402-397-2525.

How long will my appointment last?

Our average bridal appointment lasts 90-120 minutes. This allows the bride to shop our dress collection with their stylist, have plenty of time to try on between 8 and 10 gowns, and make an informed decision to find “the one”!

What is the price range of your dresses?

Our gowns range from about $1000 to approximately $2,500, with the average price range being $1,200-$1,800. Your stylist will work with you to ensure you are comfortable with the price range of gowns selected.

What designers do you carry?

We carry a variety of different designers! Some of our most popular are Essense of Australia, Maggie Sottero, and Morilee. Click here to check out our designers page to see what other designers we offer!

Should I wear specific undergarments?

We recommend bringing a strapless bra if possible as this will help get the best idea of the look and fit of a gown.

Can I buy a wedding dress off the rack?

Yes! We offer a selection of sale gowns that are sold AS IS. A number of our active gowns may also be sold off rack (with some exceptions for new and popular gowns - ask your stylist for more details!). As always, our active gowns can be ordered in different sizes and colors to fit your vision.

What size wedding dress samples do you have to try on?

We have a variety of sample sizes starting with size 10 and going up to size 30. Our stylists are trained in helping you get an idea of the right fit, even if the sample is not in your size.

Are alterations included in the price of the gown?

Alterations prices do vary and are not included in the cost of the gown. Almost every gown will require a hem, a bustle, and some side seam work to ensure the perfect fit. We have a very talented selection of seamstresses that we recommend, although you are not required to use them.

I’m not from Omaha, can I still make an appointment at Bridal Traditions?

Absolutely! We serve brides from all over Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and elsewhere.
