Bridal Traditions Omaha FAQ

Do I need an appointment to try on Wedding Dresses?

We prefer appointments to be made in advance so that we can guarantee a stylist, a fitting room for the bride, and seating for the bridal party. However, we always welcome walk-ins. Click here to make an appointment or give us a call at 402.397.2525.

How long will my appointment last?

Our average bridal appointment lasts 90 minutes. This allows the bride time to look through our dress selection with our stylists, have plenty of time to try on between eight to ten gowns, and make an educated decision to find "the one." We never want you to feel rushed, which is why we allot a whole hour and a half for your appointment.

What is the price range of dresses in your store?

Our gowns range from $1,000 to approximately $3,500, with the average price range being $1,500-$2,000. Your stylist will work with you to make sure you are comfortable with the price range of gowns selected.

What designers do you carry?

We carry a variety of designers in our salon. Some of our most popular are Essense of Australia, Stella York, Maggie Sottero and Allure. You can find a full list of designers under our Wedding Dresses tab.

Should I wear specific undergarments?

We recommend bringing a strapless bra, if you are able. This will help get the best idea of the fit of the gown and the way the neckline will appear.

Can I buy wedding dresses off the rack?

Yes! We offer a selection of sale gowns which are being sold off the rack AS IS. We also have the option to order any active style in a variety of sizes and colors in order to get your perfect fit. A number of our active gowns may also be purchased AS IS off the rack.

What size wedding dress samples do you have to try on?

We have a variety of sample sizes starting with a size 8 and going up to a size 30. Our stylists are trained in helping you get an idea of fit, even when the gown is not in your size.

Are alterations included in the price of the gown?

Almost all gowns require a hem, a bustle and some work through the side seams to ensure your perfect fit. We have a well trained and very experienced alterations staff in our salon that we recommend, however they are independent contractors and you are not required to use them. Prices do vary and are not included in the price of the gown.

I'm not from Omaha, can I still make an appointment at Bridal Traditions?

Absolutely! We serve brides from all over Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas and elsewhere.
